The only way they could get me to use Vista is to threaten me with the US Nuclear Arsenal. If it comes preinstalled on all new PCs, I'll build from scratch (and get a better machine, anyways).

For a start it'll be formatted with NTFS which DOS won't recognise (you'd need a Linux disk) and you would've already payed for Windows when you baught the disk.

We don't encourage "piracy" of MS software.  MS software should be eradicated.  As much as MS whines about "piracy" they  benefit because it spreads their crappy monoculture.

I certainly don't care. I haven't used any MS products since I joined up here, and that was over four years ago. If I upgrade, it'll be to a newer version of Slackware.  :p

I might upgrade to Vista.  That is, assuming RedHat buys all rights to present and future Microsoft products, and agrees to release them under the GPL.
