Need Key Code
« on: 27 July 2002, 03:04 »
I have a Windows 2000 Advanced Server CD but no install key code.

It's for distribution with a new P.C only 1-8 processor edition.

I purchased the P.C. that this came with, changed to Linix, but now would like to load this O.S. on another machine to play around with. Trouble is I don't have the jewel case, and I formatted the H.D.D. and dont' have a registry to find the key.

Is there any way to get another key to work?

Thank you in advance for your time an help.

If you bought the computer from a OEM [ie: dell or gateway] Then their might be a sticker on the bottom or the back of the computer with the code on it.

I thought our goal in life, as FuckMicrosoft.com, not HelpMicrosoftUsers.com, was to prevent people from using Microsoft operating systems.

I don't think we should give out Microsoft tech support.

And I think this thread should be in the Microsoft forum, not the programmer forum.
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

funny, the phorzen crew doesn't include viruses. Did you check for the size of the file (it tells you how big it should be on the site) and did you downloald it? was it from their site, or some sort of file sharing program?

You will only hate windows when you start using somthing better... Use Linux!

Wait... These are all EXE files, someone fill me in on the joke, I don't get it. What are they, Trojans, Viruses?? .ISO.EXE isn't that how hackers and crackers hide viruses, adding extra file extensions. Windows is real smart, they hide them for you. They kinda make it easy for someone to accidently download something like that. But what's Oscar?
