How do you turn on wireless networking in Fedora 12?

(1/1)

worker201:
My wireless card is supported out of the box in Fedora 12, all the drivers seem to be there.  Network manager says that wireless networking is disabled.  Presumably, there is an enable switch somewhere.  But I can't seem to find it.

The network manager icon is supposed to be in the desktop top panel.

Lead Head:
Why isn't this enabled by default? It is in Ubuntu.

Refalm:
Do you have a hardware button on the computer to turn on/off wifi?

I had a similar problem with my old laptop, because there where no drivers for the actual button. The wifi device was detected fine.

Kintaro:
Haha you stupid cunt. Just popping in, but try right clicking the icon. Unless Fedora Fucktards have differed from the upstream for no good reason it is right in front of you.

Solving this problems costs you a bill of $10AUD before I solve any others.
