Heheh I have been running ad-aware for a year or so now and I run it daily (when I am using windows). Alexa never gets the chance to live on my system. I guess I'm just a spyware killer. Heheh.

I am using XP on a new computer.  Before I tried XP I was a M$ hater too.  - All those crashes, all the things you could not do- and worst of all, all the monitoring of your internet usage hidden away in multiple places on your disk AFTER you cleared your, cache, cookies and history.

But XP is so much better.  For the first time I can say that I am happy with the M$ Operating System.  No more crashes (although sometimes IE6 shuts itself down, without damaging anything else.)  I can also not find any evidence that the cookies history and cache stay there if you delete them.

I still have my doubts about whether those flashing lights mean it is dailling home, but no one has really any hard evidence on this, and if it were true, you'd think it was there.

I particularly like the way it regularly updates itself with the latest version fixing security holes.  Makes me feel safer.  And the updates have never caused any problem.  I am also happy to have the roll back feature, to restore my computer to how it was in an earlier time before i started fiddling.

To keep the bugs at bay, I've installed some nifty utilities - Spy-watch, Ad-aware, pop-up watch and Windows Trace Remover.  In the meantime my XP works and does what I want it to.  A wonderful change compared to 98.
I L M$'s $$$$ (means I love their Dollars)

If you liked that change from Win98->XP, you'll *love* the change from XP->Linux.
