background of a folder
foobar:
Hey Henk,
It's not much use asking people on the MES (Read: Macroshaft Eradictation Society) something about Macroshaft's brand new crapass product, Winblows XP. Since most of them know that macroshaft is evil, they can't help ya 'cuz they simply don't have it.
Unless mr. Clock has it ...
Call a macroshaft helpdesk, ask them, and they will answer your question if they do not have the slightest suspicion that you are a criminal ( to macroshaft, you are a criminal if you copy YOUR copy of winblows xp on YOUR second computer )
Calum:
Henk, install linux and microwave your XP CD for 5 seconds, then come back asking questions.
I don't have XP and never will. Why? you're using it, and putting up with it, you tell me.
Good luck, you're on your own sucker. I hope you find a solution (preferably not one which comes with the Microsoft logo on it, make yr own mind up...)
voidmain:
Since everyone likes my regedit tricks try this one:
Start->Run->regedit
Delete any keys with "Control" in their names (everything under CurrentControlSet for instance). These keys are Microsoft's way of "controlling" the folder backgrounds. If you delete those registry keys it will "unlock" the "Folder-Background" menu.
