Hey, you can live without Windows. I run XP, but I hate it (like most people who use it do). I run OS 9.1 on my old PowerPC 7100/80 hahahaha. That thing is so solid, I'm gonna make my next computer a Mac if I can find a tree that grows money or a job. That old Mac changed my outlook on life. I'll never be the same. I better stop, I'm about to cry!!!

I was going to suggest www.2khappyware.com - unfortunately, Apple got wind of them making what essentially amounts to Mac clones and CoreComputers can't get Apple brand parts anymore.
Anyways, I took out a loan to pay for my computer - a flat panel 800Mhz iMac. It's one sweet machine, but due to the fact that MBNA (the bank Apple does their consumer financing through) being complete assholes, I'll be paying for this thing a lot longer than I had planned.
Bleah . . .

Don't worry, Maghor, XXXL Feet, there are still other alternatives out there:

Maybe THIS might help me switch...

I can only wish that my wonderful PC was Microshit free. In fact I dream about that everyday. Unfortunately I must use Windoze because I am a constant user Adobe products such as Photoshop, Acrobat, GoLive, Premiere, and Auition (formally known as Cool Edit). I also use tons of video tools & encoders such as VirtualDubMod and TMPGenc. There is no Unix/Linux versions of any of this software. I love video editing and can't imagine doing so with TMPGenc. It is simply the best encoder, one that is free and outputs the BEST quality MPEG1/2. So I have no choice but to feed Micro$hit OS to my computer.

You should do as Calum has suggested to me. Write the developers of the software and request linux versions
