Windows XP Service Pack 2
« on: 17 May 2004, 03:51 »
The next service pack for XP is coming out in a month or two.  I heard on the radio that the newer version of IE will actually have a built in ability to block popups!!  Wow!!!  Also, MS says that people with pirated versions of xp will not be able to get the new service pack.  They said this with service pack 1 but I found a way to get around it(Do not worry, I paid for my copy, really!  :D  ).  Supposedly there are going to be other updates as well other than all of the usuall updates and fixes.

Well, we could have a big discussion on this if we wanted to, but your question really doesn't have anything to do with the parent post.

Becuase MS defines improving something by bloating it more with just more crap.

Avant Browser is pratically Internet Explorer. I think a lot people will rather use this that the regular IE.
I prefer to use Mozilla or Firefox because they comply to W3C.
