Netstat and XP

(1/3) > >>

meikmundt:
For those of you who are familiar with Netstat..... this is my problem. Since I upgraded to XP, all the sudden when i run Netstat it opens for a split second (and i mean literally a split second) and then closes on me. It's not in the Taskbar running in the background either. I use Netstat to check IPs and watch my ports. Any idea how to fix this problem..... this is really pissin me off.

voidmain:
netstat is a command line program. Open up a CMD shell and run it from there. And calling XP an "upgrade" would be debatable.

KernelPanic:
make sure you have delay in too ie netstat 10

meikmundt:
thanks for the help, before i was using Run to open netstat, but i tried like you said and opened the command prompt first and then ran netstat and it doesn't disappear.

by the way, im not a microsoft fan, but ME to XP is def. an upgrade

Master of Reality:
ME to Linux is an upgrade
