no it isn't. i run ME as a dual boot with mandrake 8.2, but i would never 'upgrade' to XP...

re: netstat, surely in every version of windows, if you run any dos program from the run box, it will exit upon completion?

Sorry, but Win98SE is as good as it gets in the Microsoft world.

If you want to move up, Linux is your ticket.  ;)

The best Windoze ever was NT 3.1 and 2000 (as good as it can get in the Windoze world). Period. As for XPee, I'd better not make any comments  :D  . As the others said only Windoze->Linux is definitely an upgrade  ;)

im sorry but you people dont understand my situtation. Im in graphic design and multitrack recording feilds. Do you think they make any of the software i need (photoshop, Nuendo, quark) for anything but Windows and Mac. I hate Mac just as much as Windows, i just use Windows cause im more familiar with it. Sorry to disappoint you people with my software choice, but i have no choice. And say XP is better, only because i don't have any crashes anymore. I guess the trade off is, how much more personal shit i bleed to microsoft now.

What's wrong with Dicks? Being gay isn't that bad. I tend to like MS, thank you very much.
