wget, XQF and proxy??
« on: 15 December 2002, 18:57 »
Glad the forum is back   ;)

I installed xqf (gui for qstat) as server brwoser for Q3 and UT2003
Q3 server update from master server is fine but UT2003 doesn't show any servers.

I read up a little about the subject and it seems that xqf uses wget to retrieve the server list from Epic's master server.
I tried to connect to it using wget from the konsole and wget times out.
Is there any wget (or other) config file I can add my isp's proxy server address to, I searched for it on Google but didn't find anything?

Edit : never mind, I found it, added my proxy server address to /etc/wgetrc and it worked.
