Okay sports fans, here's your chance to earn some "brownie points" with me...

I don't suppose anyone knows of a halfway decent LiVE?  I've seen MPlayer and VideoLAN, to say nothing of Xine, but those are solely useful in a playback capacity.  I know somebody has to have considered this before, so where are the apps?

I use avidemux. It is featureful and good.
