Now I may be wrong but...

Linux being used by Deutsche Telecom - owned by Manumannsun?

Manumannsun owned by Vodaphone.

Vodaphone in deal with M$.

Hmmm. Conflicts anyone.

It would seem that the whole telecoms industry is heading for a clash of software, and those using M4 may be left out in the cold. For one very simple reason. Telecommunications is about the fastest moving industry around, and I don't see M4 being able to keep up. It's ability to get software updated and bugs fixed is not nearly fast enough to compete in this market. We have seen some VERY big players fail this market, because it's driven from the technical arena. It makes NO difference how much money you have, if the product is inferior you loose.

Good link that. Tells the world that Linux is a business model. 7-11 in there also, I want to know the other 4600 companies.

Even if the company were owned by Microsoft they might still use Linux.  Hell, I am sure that M$ still uses BSD as we've said before and they still run critical functions on IBM AS/400s because Win2k/XP can't handle it.
