...cause that's where the money is.
I'm really starting to dislike redhat.

solarismka:
I have to agree.  RH9  is the last distro for me.  If anything i'll switch.  Probably SuSE or something.  I don't know yet.

Siplus:
i'm going to give fedora a try, but i'm also going to keep my options open. i don't really want to use mandrake, so maybe i'll look in to suse.

Unforgiven1:
I don't know what he's talking about...my dad can use Redhat and Fedora without a problem..and up until about 3 months ago he didn't know how to turn a computer on.   :(  don't get much more computer illiterat than him.   They only want money, and as it's free to home users, there's no money there.  God I hope RedHat doesn't turn into the next M$ that would be truly tragic.

slave:
I think the free software community should focus on something that is truly non-commercial that others can use as the backbone for their OS.  Maybe based on Debian, but with more up-do-date packages and an easy gui installer.

But nobody should waste their time beta testing RHEL - besides its GNOME-based, ewwww.  Nothing thrashes the hard disk like a good gnome install...
