RedHat 8 install wtf?!

<< < (3/3)

Doogee:
if you want to boot up drake or whatever then thats great, you are right, it gets the job done.

But it gives the option to use fdisk, why not just do that. more control than that auto part stuff and booting, changing cds.

Mah

Calum:
i don't think i know how to use fdisk properly because after using it (when i installed red hat) i had to then go into disk druid to set up which was going to be the root partition, and what the labels would be and which ones were going to be formatted during the install. are these things fdisk should do or am i think or what?

Doogee:
no i dont think fdisk does that stuff, just the actuall partition part
