another noobish question from me

Im just getting used to the directories in linux and its so freaking weird.So i downloaded xine and compiled it and make install no problem right?except...I dont know where the main program is!So i did a search and all i found was some source codes some fonts and plugins but where is the program that starts up xine?

WMD:
It shouldn't matter where the program is installed.  You should be able to type "xine" and it should launch.  Same for creating a shortcut to it.
