folder/file encyption
Stryker:
I've been having problems with some friends starting my machine with a SUSE Live CD and then mounting my harddrive and getting all my stuff. How would I go about encrypting a folder or a file? (RedHat 7.3)
RudeCat7:
What kind of friends are these?
Will a bios password help in this case?
Stryker:
They aren't messing with anything important, their just trying to tease me for using something that boasts of security and they can get into. Such as changing my default screen mode and such. But does anyone know how i could go about encrypting this?

thats awesome..... luckily one of the reasons to use it is "because its fun" or else i wouldnt be allowed to use it, LOL.
I might try encrypting a whole partition on my slackware box.
