I have tried different versions of Linux and a couple of versions of BSD, but I personally think that BSD is better suited to servers. I prefer Linux for the desktop. I have been using Red Hat pretty solid for almost a year now. Just my 2 cents worth!

Its funny you say this as I just tried out freeBSD recently and was thoroughly dissappointed. I guess linux is my true love after all.

if it NVIDIA drivers, and usb 2.0 drivers and awsome sound drives existed for it it would install NetBSD on my main machine, but as it is, its very happy to run my server
