Yeah, I've tried that. I don't think some of them know what a server is. Others just tend to ignore this fact saying that servers have nothing to do with them.

They like windows because windows is so perfectly user friendly (I'm talking about the arrogant ones that actually know a thing or two about computers). They can do marvelous things with windows. Hell, i remember one of them telling me about a 'cool' program that allowed him to send anonymous e-mails. I try to explain how this is done, but no they won't listen cause they know everything about computers.

There is one scentence that you have to remember.

"There are two things that are infinnate in life.  The Universe and peoples stupidity!"

You can't change peoples minds but you can have fun with what you know!

We all know here that windows sux because its very unstable, bloaty and insecure.

But guess what?   Its also rocks because its

unstable.  (They have to know ALOT about computers to spend hours and hours fixing the same hole over and over again.)

Bloaty(You go on your coffie break while they wait for the start menu to pop up!)

And insecure

{My favourate!!!  You can always have fun with them by downoadin the latest virus.  Chances are their precus little AV scanner hasn't got the dats for it yet, or you can install a back door (without them even knowing.) or find out what they are doing by looking through IE's cache!}

Solaris is right, stop fighting, there's nothing you can do about it. Sheep eat grass and stupid people are in love with "windows", it's as natural and simple as it sounds.
Here's an advice: you shouldn't try to change the world, or even your friends' way of life and thinking, you might end up look like a smart ass

Lostinspace:
I guess you guys are right. From now on I'll just have my on silent fun and then they just might admit it.  :D

I believe the saying goes, "The Masses are Asses".

Hey Lostinspace,
Welcome to the forums!

I don't wanna be a granny here, but next time could you use a more descriptive thread title because it's nice to be able to see what threads might be interesting quickly
'Help' is kinda vague.

Thanks!
