I would be scared to use it. Whenever the screen saver would turn on I'd start having seizures, and I'll attack my monitor uncontrolablly.

Yeah, just type "xscreensaver-demo" which will bring up a configuration. Select BSOD, click "Settings" and you have your choice of crash screens:

SuSE does have a B.S.O.D emulator.  Here is a snippet from the man page that I thought was funny:
