Compaq A1000 Drivers for Linux

Does anyone know where I might be able to download some drivers for a Compaq A1000 printer?  YaST detected it on my initial install, but the drivers it provided didn't work (ghostscript Omni driver.) I tried searching on Google, but came up empty-handed, and at Compaq's site there only seems to be drivers for Micro$hit and DOS.

Hmm, if you didn't find the drivers at Compaq's site, then I doubt if you'll find any drivers for your printer (it's a GDI printer right?). You could also have a look at http://www.linuxprinting.org
