how to fix mozilla's font!, too small :-(

(1/1)

aegcp:
the view->zoom option doesn't stick, I have to do it every time, for every window, and everytime I restart mozilla as well.

I'm using redhat 9, with a screen 1024x768.

-I've read many things, one of them suggested to download Bitstream fonts, this is the post:

http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/showthread.php?t=532

I've downloaded the file(s) but don't know how to install it, how to tell KDE you want to use those fonts!

-another option was to add something in the .js config file :

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=69124&highlight=fonts+linux

- also, this:
http://www.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html#fonts

but didn't work :-(

any other idea? I'm running KDE and mozilla 1.5

thanks

After opening up Mozilla, go to

Edit
 -Preferences
  --Appearance
   ---Fonts

And change the minimum font size to your desired font size.

Hit ctrl+ or ctrl-

Fett101:
Or hold ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel.

Those options will both work for the current window, but only affect the zoom.

You would only be side stepping the problem, and would have to repeat it every time you restart Mozilla or open a new window.

IMO, you're better off adjusting the minimum font size, as it won't alter text that is larger than the minimum size you want to see.
