Sound Problems w/ Flash

I got Flash to work on Mozilla... but I can't get it  the sound to work...

I have never had sound working correctly in the latest version of flash for linux that is available. I just didn't notice until one day while at my mother's house I heard music on a site I frequent.

If a site uses an older version of flash, the sound works fine. If it uses a new version, I can't hear a thing.

Do you use KDE?  I had flash sound problems with KDE because flash doesn't understand ARTS.  Running mozilla through artsdsp fixed the problem.
