Dead right you have wacky tastes, like, I have done mixs of choof and high doses of speed, but id have to smoke the world to find longhorn sexy. It looks confusing, on drugs longhorn would just have me killing myself.

Its ok, I respect your tastes. With me however, what pisses me off the most about Microsoft software is that with each version everything gets more Fisher Price. I cant help but laugh every time I think of some professional businesses or government agencies using anything higher than Win2000, with all the Fisher Price and Teletubbies stuff.
Also what ticks me off the most is that ALL this eye candy is enabled by default. This leads to people not turning it off because of "uuh? You mean I can turn the sidebar off?" attitudes.
The fact is, Microsoft software interfaces makes people dumb and gives them less control over their computer. It prevents people from using their brains to think, and it makes people believe that "if thats the way MS set it by default, then that's the way it should be."
Some people don't even know that a Control Panel exists in XP!!!!!!!! because of all the task panes and silly stuff all over the screen like "Click here to do this" and "click here to do that". Then you give someone a VCR and ask them to set a timer to record something, and they bitch at you cause they first have to figure out that you have find and hit the MENU button, then scroll down to SET TIMER, and so on. Someone recently called me to ask how to swap mouse buttons because they're left handed. I said, well how/where do you think this is done (in XP). He then bitched at me for making his head hurt by thinking for once, and he STILL couldnt figure it out. What a FUCKTART! How hard is it to figure out to go to the CONTROL PANEL and select MOUSE PROPERTIES?? HOW FUCKING HARD IS THAT???
Microsoft software makes people stupid. That is a FACT. If they made the "professional style" the default, at least people would either not use all the eye candy or they would spend the extra 15 seconds in changing stuff around and use their brains in the process.
Sorry, didn't mean to rant. I respect your likes of Microsoft interfaces, as long as your not part of Billy's sheep. I use Windows too. But XP and Longhorn is where I have to draw the line. Win2000 is the last Windows I'll ever use.

The title bar is the same size it always has been. Longhorn apps use the top level of the toolbar for the title area, though.
Most Windows apps, though will have a normal titlebar.
What's wrong with the sidebar? If you have any resolution higher than 800x600, it's not really that big of an issue. Oh, guess what. You can turn it off or shrink it down. Yeah, that's just so bad.

It doesn't look a thing like OS X. There's no fucking way a person could mistake Windows for Mac OS X. Unless, well... heh.
As for blue? Um... friend, the overwhelming color of the current default appearance theme in Longhorn is gray. Being called "Slate", it does in fact make sense. I'm willing to bet that Longhorn will probably have a decidedly darker, grayer overall tint than XP. More refined.

P.S. What the hell is a "fucktart"? Some kind of small pastry that you eat while fornicating? I thought the word was "fucktard", seeing that it's a combination of fuck and "retard".
