i am the webmaster of www.bobhub.tk
The Cult of Bob home page (http://www.cultofbob.tk) isnt working because it is hosted on fortunecity and their servers are down or somethin. The Cult of Bob home is at fortunecity only because the guy who satrted the cult (Gizzbob) worked(or works) for fortunecity.

www.bobhub.tk has almost everything that www.cultofbob.tk has so you arent missing very much at all.

www.bobhub.tk hasnt been down for two days (And it was only down long enough to restart)

Leech:
Okie,

Is fortunecity free hosting?

I downloaded that RedHat Linux 7.3 and need to ask what I fear is a stupid motherfucker of a question. Please bear with me and excuse my ignorance.

Is it simply the case that I can copy the files to cd and voila I can boot and install from it?

Or is there more to it than that??

Please help guys.

For Now,

LeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeecH! /Bob

No, these are ISO images. That is, the file contains the CD file system that needs to be laid out on CD. Most burn software has the ability to write ISO images, search your CDRW help for ISO images.

And now that you got RedHat 7.3, it's time to go get 8.0.     8.0 is pretty sweet.

Calum:
i thought you said that *.0 releases were to be avoided for newbies?

also, in answer to 'what do i do with the ISOs?', go to linuxiso.org (it's in void main's signature) and have a look at their detailed instructions about how to make your own linux CDs.

I believe 8.0 just might be an exception to the rule...
