I sort of miss having a 3rd company making video cards. Now days its either ATI or nvidia. Sort of how we only have AMD or Intel to choose from.

Matrox is still alive and the S3 Savage chipset series is still being distributed.
And there are cyrix and transmeta chips for x86...
I do miss 3dfx though.

Londonboy, it would help if we knew exactly which model of Voodoo card. Banshee, V3, v4, v5? Onboard RAM?

Hi,the card is a Voodoo 3.
Not sure why but I cant get it to wrk at all, Untill i take out my NVIDIA card and boot with only the Voodoo card, Then it works fine :)

First of all, I don't think the v3's can handle 24 bits per pixel. That may be part of the problem.
Are you trying to run two graphics cards at the same time, or are you trying to run one of the two cards while both are plugged in?
Check out the XF86 Documentation Page, specifically the Device Section.
Pay attention to the BusID option. I think you are trying to load a tdfx driver while X looks for the default BusID. Since the default BusID is an AGP card (Nvidia), XF86 barfs.
I'd suggest you read an old article on XF86 4.0 which discusses this a little bit.
I have never tried to rig a linux box with 2 vid cards at the same time, so this is the limit of my expertise. Please let us know how it works out.
