I was just playing with Xine tonight (in RedHat though). I just made my first VCD. I captured video from my digital video camera, and created a VCD. All with open source software. Then I played it in Xine. I don't have a DVD player other than my PS2 but it appears that the PS2 will not play VCDs. I guess my kids will get a DVD player this Christmas. Then I can dump all my videos to VCD (or DVD). And just burn copies of the CDs for the relatives.
But Knoppix is packed to the hilt! Thank GNU for compressed CD file systems.

PS- I am gonna try to install Knoppix to a hard drive per the instructions, but, wouldn't it be cool if Knoppix came out with a full installation distro? It would own!!!

I am extremly tired righ now to play around with it any further. I had VERY VERY little sleep all this week so i dont wanna play and fak up something.
But yeah, it kicks so much ass its not funny.
Screw Windows as a client for my VNC connection for my presentation. I will use this and have them all in the class going "What the fuck is going on here?"
Anyway guys, i am going to sleep now to catch up for a whole freaking week.
