The Auditor:
Hey all, curious about this..
Ive used Dreamweaver MX (and a few games) On the boxes i use at school, and i used to use Dreamweaver MX at home for my web design (Better than notepad ), but there is no version of Dreamweaver for Linux, sadly.
What i want to know is what way you would suggest i use to allow me to use Dreamweaver MX etc etc on my linux box?
For informational purposes, i run Mandrake 9.
i know about VMWare etc.. but i want to know if there is anything better?
Cheers

Personally I believe notepad to be superior to any WYSIWYG editor. And 100 times better than notepad on the same lines is VIM.
But if you are stuck in the WYSIWYG rut then there are a couple of options. There is Quanta Plus Web Development Environment. Quanta is included with RedHat 8.0. Don't know about Mandrake. Also the new Mozilla's Composer is very nice.
The Auditor:
Hmm yeah.. im not suck on WYSIWYG...
i use dreamweaver in both views.. only code though.
Just my style though.
Ill have to have a look
Mebbe emulate it..
Thanks for replying, BTW.

As for running it, I don't think you'll find anything better than vmware. You can try it for 30 days, I love it. I'm going to be buying it whenever I can save up enough money (after my modem that is).
The Auditor:
lol.. internal modems + linux..
thats a no-no.
anyhow thanks or the suggestion.. i think i may be able to fix that VMWare problem
