A few programs?
Calum:
yeah, but the three (or four i suppose) card trick of mozilla composer, openoffice.org and either quanta or bluefish is all you'll need i think.
The Auditor:
Agreed.
I can use the text only editors just as well.
so i now use pure linux based apps.
easier than emulating.. and if i really need something from Winblows, i can still get hold of it..
personally i never went with the WYSIWYG of Dreamweaver, i liked other aspects, organization..
But i found programs that do the same in linux, so all is well.
Thanks again
The Auditor
Doogee:
will quanta run in gnome 2? ive got KDE installed aswell so ive got all the libs.
Calum:
yes it will. and so will bluefish i think. screem looks like it's a bit pants though. i've run it only once, because it crashed that time, which sucks if you have unsaved work.
LorKorub:
Whatever happened to Emacs or Vi?? They both work great to write whatever type of code you are concocting. Notepad (the only stable $hitblow$ app) writes that fine, as well. But, Vi and Emacs actually adhere to the concept of incapsulation, something that the M$ fools never incorporate in their pathetic attempts at programming.
Maybe it is time for a switch?
