I think I just realized that in linux you can use your browser to download ftp files.

I noticed this because, when I happened to click on ftp files in IE before, IE would just hang forever, and It wouldn't let me transfer them.

Is this correct, I mean that IE sucks in that matter?

any recent browser should be able to download ftp files.
