mounting floppy
Master of Reality:
how do i mount a floppy in OpenBSD???
is the /dev/fd0 changed to something else???
Master of Reality:
mount -t msdos /dev/fd0a /mnt/floppy
fd0: timeout (st0 20<seek_cmplt> cyl 0)
the above repeated five times.. then:
fd0a: hard error reading fsbn 0 (st0 20<seek_cmplt> st1 0 cyl 0 head 0 sec 0)
gonarch last message repeated 5 times
gonarch /bsd: fd0a: hard error reading fsbn 0 (st0 20<seek_cmplt> st1 0 st2 0 cyl 0 head 0 sec 0)
mount_msdos: /dev/fd0a on /mnt/floppy: Input/Output error
well.... that didnt work.
voidmain:
Was the floppy disk good and was it FAT format? Failing that you might want to look at this page:
