The best Linux help message board on the net?
lazygamer:
There is all sorts of Linux sites on the net. I was thinking that if I went to a place with alot of users and some really smart people, I might be able to get my internal ADSL modem working in Linux. Im almost certain it would work, but i'd have to manually set up all these obscure little variables.
MES has a great Linux forum, but you guys haven't been able to solve my problem yet.
Calum:
well, is that a question?
i suggest going to linuxquestions.org/questions and ask there.
better still, go there and use the search facility as most questions have already been asked on that forum, and it'll save you waiting for a reply then.
Nobber:
The Linux Format forums might be worth a look, too. I visit them quite often.

I believe I already did the research for you. My memory could be wrong but I believe the research that I did indicated that there were no drivers for your internal DSL modem, and I gave you links to the external DSL modem of the same brand that would work with Linux.
If there are no drivers available, no amount of help on this earth will help you get that DSL modem working, short of getting someone to write the drivers for you (or you writing them yourself). Even then that will likely not be possible without the manufacturers help.
Calum:
well said. that is about all one can say on the subject.
