Red Hat 5.0 with XFree86... lite, compact, fast... minimal hardware support though  :(

Is this thread still around?

Being a Mac user, I use Xfree86 on the Darwin kernel when I'm in a UNIXy mood; it runs simultaneously with OS X.

I have a thing called Virtual PC, it's a Pentium emulator for Mac. I have Win95 and Gray Cat Linux on it.
This APT has Super Cow Powers.

Yeah, Microsoft addressed that. They're now marketing Microsoft Whiteout XP and the Microsoft Pencil and Eraser 2000 Advanced Writer.

not everything is down to money you know.

i will maintain that lindows is at least as bad as apple or red hat (which is no huge insult, microsoft clearly are much worse than any of those) until they prove otherwise.

SuSE and Lycoris both charge for their linuces and i bear them no ill will so far.

Lindows is at least as bad as Red Hat? What the hell is that all about? Red Hat is *nothing* like Lindows. Since when is Red Hat bad, and what makes you think that?
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

Yeah Calum, RedHat are one of the greatest advocates of free software. They dont seem to uphold their beliefs so much these days (that is I think they have proprietory stuff in their pro. editions - well I think they do)#
But yeah they u sed to be very strict about it.
