Just reinstall linux again. So you get better at it. This issue is usually configured during the installation, they make it really easy for you unless you don't read the instructions.

And if all else fails, try SuSe!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've got the impression that Grub is a bit harder to configure than LILO.
The bootloader my SuSE box uses is LILO and the Red Hat box uses Grub but I only had to change lilo.conf once because the partition weren't listed correctly and it wouldn't let me boot into Windows.

So what would be the advantage of Grub over LILO?
