Linux and coremode equivalent?
(1/1)
lazygamer:
Ok so you know how XP has this "core mode" thing which allows the XP OS to load entirely into memory? It needs 512mb ram minimum and 1024mb to be a good idea.
What about Linux? Does it have it's own core mode equivalent, but with much lower RAM requirements? I think it would impress my bro alot if Linux could do a core modeish thing on half the ram!
Refalm:
Knoppix loads from CD-ROM and requires 128 MB RAM.
Faust:
Heh heh, that's a quarter not half. ;)
(With math skills this good how come I only got 60% on my last exam?)
