RH 8.0 - RHN applet disappearing from taskbar

I remember you asking but I didn't know how to turn it back on. It was the first thing I tried to turn off. And did so by removing the RPM. I think many were in my situation. At least the first message in this thread hopefully answers your question, even if a little late.

Ahhahahahah, apt-get upgrade, how hard is that? And it upgrades my non-RH software as well as my RH software. So there!

I also use apt-get, but that rhn applet is a blessing for the less experienced like myself :D
When I look at the list synaptic gives me I sometimes think I'm trying to read Cantonese
