Upgrade now, or wait?

exactly
KernelPanic:
Why not try TinyX, It was made with PDA's in mind but should solve your problems. It ships with Xfree 4.x
KernelPanic:
And try www.rule-project.org when it is back online.

Thanks for all the input. I priced RAM on my lunch break and they were asking $40 each for used 32 MB 72 pin simms. They wanted $30 each for 16 MB sticks. Ouch! I just bought my daughter a 256 MB dimm and it was only $40 from Crucial.com. Guess the obsolete old stuff is getting scarce and expensive. And, if I had to add another hard drive, it would probably set me back another $35 or so to get a used 4 GB drive and there's no way I'm going to pump over $100 into this old junker. Guess I'll just have to wait a a few months until I can pay for newer hardware.
I do appreciate all the other suggestions, but at my current level of expertise (raw newbie) I'm not sure that I'm up to the task of changing window managers and other things suggested to try and make RH 7.2 run.
I am sure that there's still plenty I can learn from this old girl just the way she is. Besides, it gives me that much more to look forward to when I actually can upgrade.
Thanks again,
Jim

IIRC Linux doesn't use alot of my swapspace(if any), which is a good thing I suppose.
