mandrake is *very* eas to install, but if you really think the best way is to run windows XP and then install it on a SHIT32 filesystem then you have a lot of headaches coming your way.

simply put the CD for mandrake in your CD and reboot. follow the instructions, remembering to always use the advanced and expert options. don't do anything stupid and come and ask questions if you have questions.

What do u mean by exppert install and dont do anything stupid? is that where I pick the GUI I wanna use or I can switch anytime in root ?

the expert lets you choose more things yourself. Dont use the "recommended install".
Just boot your computer off the CD and it will come up and has pretty good step by step instructions i believe.

By "dont do anything stupid" i believe he means... if you dont know what the hell something is... you might want to ask about it before getting it or not getting it.
