Linux trying to be like Windows?

Linux would only be like Windows if it was full of bugs and security holes.  Whether or not the GUI looks similar, doesn't matter much.  I think that helps, so users of Windows can switch over faster.

Yes, I think that's a good idea: just make Linux look like Win and give it the same ease of use and it will have a real possibility of catching up with MS. You see, although linux has changed over the years, it still scares people (including me) because they think you really have to know what's going on inside a computer before they can use it(rightly or wrongly)But if they can really give linux that ease of use and proof it, I think MS is going to be in bad shape. I would love to see it!   :D
