What is a good OS to run on an AMD 64 3400+?
WMD:
Mandrake 9.2 for AMD64.

mobrien_12:
There is an AMD 64 port of FreeBSD.

SuSE 9.1 sounds tempting, and KDE 3.2 looks sweet. Apparently the commcercial Professional version does not ship until may 8th.
Does anyone have an opinion on where I should download or buy it from?
idlepython3:
Mandrake 9.2 also sounds pretty good. Commercially it is a little more, $100 instead of $89 for suSE. Does anyone have any first hand experience with either of these?
WMD:
Well the Mandrake 9.2 is out now, but if you wait Suse 9.1 will have kernel 2.6 and (probably) KDE 3.2. May is next month...so wait.
