running wine usually involves looking up
applications here http://appdb.winehq.org/ to
guide you though settings they may require..
also, compiling wine from source is typicly
not the path of least resistance. codeweavers and
transgaming both have installable packages of wine
that might work better.

What, so the application should have everything it needs to run packaged with it? Like libraries, X-Windows... everything?
