The Bible says gay people also must be put to death; do you agree with that?
The Bible also forbids playing football, (touching a pigskin; Lev. 11:8) shaving your beard, (Lev. 19:27) and working on Saturday (Numbers 15:32-36, where a man was put to death for picking up some sticks on the Sabbath!)
I'm not gay, but using the Bible as justification for anything is just plain retarded. Besides, it's mostly used to justify evil things like violence, genocide and racism.
People should develop actual, well thought-out reaons for their beliefs instead of drawing on that barbaric and brutalizing book known as the Bible. (sorry I know this has nothing to do with Microsoft ;) )

I'm not going to go too deep into the whole god stuff, but imo god is just an excuse for the masses which lost it's credibillity somewhere around the crusades.....
If there *really* was a god, I'd call him a pretty sadistic bastard for creating us and giving us so called "free will", and then just laugh at the mess we created.....
And if two males or two females having sex with eachother is so unnatural, then how com it is quite common in the animal kingdom? Because the animals are sinners? Because they are paganistic heathens who worship the devil? I think it's more likely in their genes and that it's natures way of population control....
zombie, this kind of post makes me think you're a NRA member who voted for bush and thinks the death penalty is the best thing since sliced bread. You just learnt how to spell properly and learnt your grammar properly and like to nitpick on grammatical errors in peoples posts whose first language isn't even english and you, ofcourse, can only speak one....

The Bible is not the end all be all of wisdom as Zombie might think but nither is it a bunch of crap. If you actually READ the thing, you will realise that it's ultimet messages are universal ones and have nothing to do with the nitpicking people do.

The fundamental problem with this is that it depends who translated the verse. Are you listening to the Bible or King James?
In the origional hebrow, the verse can be taken to mean a billion other things, from not lieing in a womans bed, to not getting in to bed with a man and a woman, and as anyone will tell you, it's a toss up to the translator.
If Leviticus is the guiding principal behind this, I suggest taking a look at some of the other laws he outlines. I think you might be surprised at how wacky they are, then ask yourself why you aren't following them all. You don;t get to pick iand choose your laws, ither you belive the book is law, or you don't.
Sodom and Gomora is also a popular refrence, but didn't it occur to you that the homsexuals in that story were out to RAPE Lot? Was this condeming homosexuals, or rape?
Jesus, the final authority if you are a Christian, never said one word concerning homosexuality.
