installing Slackware Prob.

isolinux: loading spec packet failed, trying to wing it.
isolinux: found something at drive=9F
isolinux: failed to access CD-ROM device, boot failed.


this is the mesaage i get when trying to boot off the slackware CD. Does this mean i should try a boot disk?

Well, since the kernel can't be loaded, there should be something wrong with your CD. Did you try a boot disk?

my actual CD is fine (i installed slackware on another computer with it). My CDROM works properly as i installed RedHat with it. Maybe i will try a boot disk anyway.
