I will be soon dual booting with Linux and windows. Or maybe even just using Linux.
But I am worried about my hardware not working at all.
And also if i don't like it can i delete the partition.
Can anybody reasure me?

What kind of hardware? All of my hardware worked fine...
If you don't like it, you can delete the partition, reformat it, and use it for Windows.
Put the bootloader in the MBR though...

defiantly give us a list of hardware. i know what to sound in joy over, and cringe with unmentionable horror at. and so do a lot of people on these boards

You could just try a LiveCd Linux, like Knoppix, that will give you a general idea of what works, and what doesn't. Usually it's the printer, in worst cases, your modem, or other internet devices do not work, but like I said, you just take the cd out and reboot...

Well, one bit of hardware i am worried about is my Belkin USB Videobus 2.
Also my Canon BJC-6000 which is connected using a Canon Parallel to USB adaptor.
