Baikonur:
Microsoft is a cash-hungry cow.

With $50 billion in reserves . . .

I want to send Mr. Gates this complimentary link:

www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/you.html

Refalm:
I've been getting this message lately while MSN'ing with dMSN (a kick ass freeware MSN client for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows):

quote:.NET Messenger Service Staff: You are running a version of messenger that requires an immediate security update. Please visit http://messenger.msn.com/Help/Upgrades.aspx to complete the update.
--- End quote ---

That would actually be a "downdate".

Stilly:
yeah, that thing is very annoying, and of course its un blockable

suselinux:
I got it using Kopete, just got it again as I was typing this.

The ".NET Messenger Staff" showed up on my contacts list so I just blocked them, so far I haven't seen them again, but it's only been five minutes.

last night i was getting that stupid message every two minutes, I had to set my chat session to "Always on top" in KDE so I wouldn't be interupted.

CUMGUZLERSOFT!
