partitioning in Linux instead of Windows
(1/1)
buzza24:
I have always used Partition Magic to partition me Hard Disk and I am told it is better and easier if I do it in Linux.
Any idea on how i can do this, and the best way to do this?

suselinux:
What Distro do you use
Mandrake, and SuSE have some very easy to use GUI thingies for partitions that are integrated.
try looking in the Control Centre.
buzza24:
I use Red Hat.
And I need something that I can edit the partitions with, not just view them.
Laukev7:
You may want to try out qparted. It is a frontend for GNU Parted, and you can find it at the Fedora apt-get repository.
