I have to say. Some people felt some resentment because some people really like MAC OS.
Hey OSX is Unix based were in the same family, just cousins.
frankly When Marklar (OSX for X86) comes out I'll be the first person in Canada to buy it. I'll boot it right beside SuSE, and RedHat 7.3
I think they will get along great, better than this forum has in the past.
Frankly I think things get REALLY REALLY boring when everyone is talking about the same genral Topic (ONLY LINUX, ONLY MAC, ONLY WINFUCKYOU) because
a great chance to get a point across, or to learn something just turns into rehtoric.
heated debate is one thing, but I didn't come here to talk with a bunch of twelve year old children
about the fact that so and so is a CUNT or so and so is PRICK.

Besides Linux, Mac, and Windows, what else is there to talk about? Like the lounge is one thing, but these three are extremely broad topics. Perhaps you mean "It's boring to constantly praise Linux+Mac and always diss Windows".
Well I don't think most people here are 12 year oldish, they seem pretty advanced!
OSX for X86... wow! But won't that suffer from incompatiblity? IE:Can't run mac programs(which there is probably alot of by now), can't run windows programs. So it sounds like it's in the same position as Linux. Of course it has marketing clout and user friendliness.

Nah, X11 doesn't lack intellect, that's for sure. I know for a fact that he's a very intelligent person. Unfortunately though he is very immature and his demotion from mod to member was at this time something that had to be done.
