Thank you for your answers. I tried all three main distros, and many others, but have never tried Lindows before. I am already familiar with Linux, but I was wondering why so many dislike Lindows.

I have heard of the logging as root issue, and I agree that it is a security problem.

Bare bones Lindows is $49.95

The lindows site looks amazingly similar to Apple's site.

*yawn* THis is just the beginning .. hopefully people will respect lindows more when they start putting it on better machines.
