... Try passing it=option to kernel

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

I feel like such a newb!!!

I tried to install Mandrake 9.0 on the 5GB drive I have, and use it as a secondary drive on my main machine. It installed just fine, then it set the boot loader to what I assumed to be correct, but then when it rebooted:

Ext3-fs: unable to read superblock

mount=error 22 mounting ext3 flags

Kernel Panic: No init found...

I put the install disk back in and tried to "reset boot loader" back to windows, but no go, it didn't fix the linux boot loader (which I tried first), is there anyway to recover this or should I just start over?

And for future reference, should I just install on the 5GB drive for linux and the other for windows? I really wanted to dual boot. I would appreciate it greatly if anyone could help, I would just STW but I have a huge report due tomorrow and I need to use my computer. Thanks

KernelPanic:
I suggest you reinstall (making sure to install GRUB on the MBR).

DJ:
Well I don't wanna give up on Linux and I would like to have Linux on the 5G drive for now and windows on my other is that possible or should I just make 2 partitions on my main and use one for Windows and one for Linux?
