So sayeth my friend who adamantly believes windows is great. I personally hate it because i have CONSTANT problems.

But anyway, I dont know too much about linux (i would love to try it though), so could someone give me some plus's that linux has over windows so i can at least prove him somewhat wrong.

Get Linux, it's not that hard. Check out www.tldp.org for ANY help at all. If you have something that's completely unsolveable, check out one of any number of help forums.

Here's a Linux version which loads from CD, doesn't touch your hard disk and still kicks ass!
