Apparently it can see NTFS. Has anyone tried it?

I thought NTFS read support was supported since a WHILE ago, and only NTFS read/write support would be experimental ... but that's the kernel, not the distro even ...

As I understand it NTFS can be read using various server programs. Mandrake claim to be able to mount the Windows NTFS natively (so you can see it just like you can see 98).

I might dl mandrake 9 or i might not (more probable) unless someone has some excellant praise for it.
